Sheep Shearing and Petting Zoo!

Watch live shearing demonstrations done by a professional sheep shearer right here on our farm. The process doesn’t harm the sheep at all, the wool is taken off sheep every year to keep them happy and healthy.
Saturday, May 7th 10:00-3:00 p.m.
Food:
- The BBQ Barn will be open with bbq chicken, soft pretzels, ice cream, strawberry milkshakes, and more.
Activities:
- • 10am-3p.m. sheep shearing demonstrations, usually 2 sheep per hour.
- • Q & A with Kirk the shearer
- • He will describe the process, what tools he uses and why shearing is essential for all sheep.
- • Hayride around the farm
- • Artisans: Spinners & Weavers, WoodCarver, Quilter, Blacksmith
Petting Zoo
- • Go behind the fence and interact with our donkeys. lambs, and baby goats.
- All our other animals are very friendly and will come up to the fence!
Tickets:
- • $12.00 per adult (ages 12+)
- • $ 8 per child (ages 5-11)
- • FREE for toddlers (0-4)
