Sit back, relax and let us take you through the real Amish country backroads. Your driver-guide will drive 25 miles into countryside not easily found on our own. From the window you’ll see Amish homes, schools and farms. Depending on the season you might see Amish working in their fields, children riding on scooters and horse & buggies traveling to and from.
We recommend including our guided farmhouse tour to your package. (Premium Package Tour)
On our 90-minute guided bus tour, you’ll travel about 25 miles of Amish farmlands. Sit back, relax, and leave the driving to us as we take you down the real backroads of Amish Country.
For those visiting on a Sunday, keep in mind that the Amish do not work on a Sunday. Our bus tours typically make one stop at a local country store. Learn more about visiting on a Sunday (link to Plan Your Visit Page Sunday).

The guided house tour can also be added to your bus tour ticket. This package is called the “Premium Package Tour”.
Next, step on our bus for an immersive learning experience. The bus will stop at Amish shops along the way and bring you back to our farm.
*On Sundays, the bus does not make stops at Amish stores but rather a local country store.
Tour our historic farmhouse where an Amish family once lived and worked. Learn about Amish culture and beliefs from our in-house tour guide. The farmhouse tour can be completed before or even after your bus departure.

This experience is so wonderful. Our tour guide was excellent and the content was very educational. We enjoyed learning about Amish home life during the house tour, and the attached little farm and schoolhouse was also nice to stroll through. The scooter track was VERY fun :) Nice gift shop. The bus tour guide was so friendly and took us to some very special places. We interacted with Amish in intimate small groups and were able to purchase fresh baked items from the hands that made them, hot chocolate and hand made decor/goods! We also went to an Amish owned store with other yummy treats and crafts/goods. It was so amazing to see them plowing their fields with horses! Loved this Amish Farm and House and bus tour and highly highly recommend!
I was first hesitant to visit here due to the comments of others about it being next to a Target. And yes, it's literally next to a Target, but it's so much more! We have children ages 10,9 and 6. We did the 90min bus tour of the Amish countryside, and we all enjoyed this. You get to have someone drive you all around the county seeing Amish and Mennonite farms. You make two stops for about 15min each to shop and explore two farms. Back at the Amish house, we took the house tour and our guide was fantastic and thorough. She kept the attention of all the kids in our group and it was facinating. The kids took an additional hour exploring outside. They have barns, blacksmith shop, available food, carriage rides, etc. When you are at the farm you have no idea you are next to a Target. And the animals! Our kids pet horses, donkeys, goats and chased chickens... Many interactions with animals if you like. It was a worthwhile afternoon and we all learned!
