Annual Sheep Shearing Days--April 27 and May 4, 2012
This annual field trip tradition continues this year! Visit us during these 2 special days and see, learn, and experience the annual tradition of sheep shearing. We are the only attraction in Lancaster County to offer such a unique experience.
Besides our regular resident artisans, we will also have several special demonstrators including a spinner/weaver, blacksmith, ice cream maker and more!

15th Annual FALL FARM DAYS--October 6-8, 2012.
Several special vendors will be on our property during this year's Columbus Day Weekend. Come check them out!
Saturday: Storytelling with Sherri Lubkeman; homemade icecream; blacksmith; Amish ladies selling homemade baked goods and apple cider; folk music by a local musician; chalk art by Elva Hurst (have your portrait drawn too!)
Sunday: Blacksmith; homemade icecream; face painting and pumpkin painting; folk music by a local musician; chalk art by Elva Hurst.

American Quilters Society Convention (at the Lanc. Convention Center)--March 14-17, 2012
While attending the quilters' convention in Lancaster County--the home of the Pennsylvania Dutch and Amish quilts--visit The Amish Farm & House! Come learn about the makers of these world-renowned quilts at the first Amish home opened to the public! Stop by our very own quilt barn and see locally and Amish made quilts, pillows, potholders, and more.
15th Annual Lamplight Tours (For groups of 15+)
September through November. By reservation only.
Learn about the lifestyle of the Old Order Amish on these special evening tours. The historic farmhouse is lit only by oil and gas lights--no electric lights for these evenings! Experience first hand the lifestyle of the Amish. Your tour also includes a free hayride and complimentary piece of pie and apple cider. A great opportunity for scout groups, youth groups, senior groups, family reunions, and more.
These tours are reserved for groups only and require a two-week advance reservation.
